Overview
The Central Coast Irrigation Management Workshop is a one-of-a-kind workshop that focuses on irrigation principles and practices. This one-day class is packed with valuable information that will help you squeeze the most out of every valuable drop of water you apply to your vineyard or crop.
The workshop was developed by one of California’s premiere soil-plant-water relations specialists. It will give you hands-on, practical information you can use immediately. Topics include everything from basic soil-plant-water relations to the latest technology in irrigation scheduling techniques.

The IMW will be led by Lowell Zelinski, Ph.d. He is a soil-plant-water relations expert with 28 years of hands-on experience. He holds a master’s degree in ag science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a doctorate in soil-plant-water relations from U.C. Davis. He has worked as a U.C. Extension Farm Advisor, private agricultural consultant, and a CSU professor. Zelinski now runs an irrigation scheduling and vineyard consulting company in Paso Robles.
